1. Location Privacy by Design
CrewFam is engineered from the ground up to prevent invasive surveillance and door-level tracking:
Coarse Arterial Snapping: Raw GPS fixes are automatically snapped to major highway intersections and landmark centroids (e.g. I-94 & Hwy 50, I-94 & Grand Ave) using an intentional ~9 km privacy radius. Your exact street address, apartment number, and building rooftop are never stored or displayed to peers or guests.
Consent-Only Access: Location access is strictly opt-in. Background tracking requires explicit operating system authorization.
Follow & Block Controls: You maintain complete autonomy over who can notify you and who you see. You may toggle proximity alerts for any crew member via the bell icon, or block any user at any time for any reason. Blocked users are immediately purged from your live map and device view with zero justification required.
Zero Data Brokerage: We do not sell, license, rent, or monetize your location fixes or personal profile to advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks. Period.
2. Information We Collect
To provide crew proximity features, we collect minimal operational telemetry:
Coarse Coordinates & Arterial Place: The generalized latitude/longitude of the nearest major corridor intersection.
Device Telemetry: Device identifier token, timestamp of report, and approximate battery percentage (used for hardware health alerts).
Authentication Profile: If you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your account name and email address for allowlist verification.
3. Retention & Instant Deletion
Immediate Deletion on Stop: When you click "Stop Sharing" or sign out, your presence record is permanently removed from the live crew board. We do not leave an entry stating you opted out.
24-Hour Expiration: Live map fixes older than 24 hours automatically expire and are purged from public view.

No Driving Distractions: You agree never to configure, interact with, or view CrewFam while operating a motor vehicle. Always comply with state and federal distracted driving laws.
"As-Is" Service: Services are provided strictly on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We make no guarantee of real-time location precision, continuous uptime, or mobile network coverage.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fook'n Oats Enterprises, its principals, officers, affiliates, and developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of your use of or inability to use this platform.
Voluntary Participation: You acknowledge that you voluntarily share your location and assume full responsibility for your privacy choices.
